An Introduction to Master Tung’s Acupuncture:

董氏針灸正經奇穴學的淵源及其特點

Master Tung (1916 – 1975)

 

Dr. Chuan-Min Wang received Tung’s certification on 05/30/1974

Master Tung Ching Chang  has been referred to as The Greatest Acupuncture Master who ever lived. He was a traditional Chinese physician from the Shandong Province in Northern China, famous for the miraculous and spontaneous results he would obtain using just a few needles. The points he used are unique in that they are located opposite the affected area. In most cases, the patient notices the effect immediately upon insertion of the needle.

Master Tung’s Points were a treasured family secret, handed down and refined over many generations. He moved to Taiwan on 1949. From 1953-1975, there were over 40,000 patient visits in his clinic in Taipei. Master Tung also began to teach his secret point system in Taipei. He chose all his students, 73,  by himself and no any charge. Dr. Chuan-Min Wang is one of the 73 students.

董師景昌先生(1916-1975) ，山東省平度縣人，係當代的針灸大師之一。以用針精簡，療效宏偉稱著於世。自一九四九年先生遷台後，至一九七五年，以其十世秘傳的針灸絕學，懸壼濟世，看診病人達四十萬人次。並於一九七三年八月出版《董氏針灸正經奇穴學》中文本，將其十世秘傳公諸於世。其間廣收弟子，免費教授，必要時更供宿食。一九七五年，董師仙逝，卜葬於陽明山第一公墓，由入門的七十三位弟子恭立墓碑，以享千秋。

When Master Tung died in 1975, he left behind his point book and his legacy. His book published in Chinese firstly in August 1973. Then Dr. Palden Carson, one of his students, translated to English as “Tung’s Acupuncture” and published in December 1973. Dr. Carson added his experience and re-edited it and published as “Tung’s Orthodox Acupuncture” in 1988  (http://www.worldtaa.org/index2.html  ).  Master Tung’s another student, Dr. Wei-Chieh Young, wrote the “ Tung’s Acupuncture and Clinical Application” (in Chinese) in 1980 (up to 1992, 12th  edition). Up to now, this book is very helpful for people who wants to learn Tung’s Acupuncture by himself. Dr. Young now is the most famous Tung’s Acupuncture instructor in USA. Dr. Young Wei Chieh’s “ Tung’s Acupucnture” (English edition) already published in 2005 (www.drweichiehyoung.com ).   Then he publish another 3 Tung’s acupuncturet textbooks in Chinese and “ILLUSTRATED TUNG’S ACUPUNCTURE POINTS” in 2006.

There are many other Master Tung’s students write many Mater Tung’s Acupuncture books in Chinese, such like Dr. Jin-Hsiung Lai, Dr. Bin-Chuan Hu and Dr. Kwou-Cheng Lee.  All  published in Taiwan.

一九七三年八月出版中文本董氏針灸後，董師即指定當時在台大醫學院進修的弟子巴頓( Dr. Palden Carson)（藏族）譯為英文” Tung’s Acupuncture”，於同年十二月出版。一九八０年，弟子楊維傑醫師(Dr. Wei-Chieh Young)結合其臨床經驗，出版《董氏奇穴針灸學》繁體中文本，至一九九二年已十二版出書，成為學習董氏針灸入門必讀之書。楊氏後來移民來美，但遊走台灣，美國及中國大陸，傳授董氏針灸，卓然有成，該書之簡體字版亦已於中國大陸出版，英文版譯為”Tung’s Acupuncture” 已於二００五年出版，接著又於二00六年出版中文版的”董氏奇穴講座穴位學”，“董氏奇穴講座治療學”及“針灸寶典”三書，以及英文版的” “ILLUSTRATED TUNG’S ACUPUNCTURE POINTS”，對於學習董氏奇穴以及傳統針灸的運用，有著很大的貢獻。有意者可上網www.drweichiehyoung.com 參考。

 

巴頓醫師於一九八八年增訂” Tung’s Acupuncture”，結合個人經驗，改名為”Tung’s Orthodox Acupuncture”。後由倫敦轉至加拿大多倫多執業，並成立世界董氏針灸協會(The World Tung’s Acupuncture Association),並於加拿大，台灣及美國等各地開班教授及推廣董氏針灸。有意者可上網http://www.worldtaa.org/index2.html　參考。巴頓醫師，楊維傑醫師與筆者俱為董師直傳關門弟子。

 

此外在台灣的董氏弟子亦有先後以中文出書者，如早期賴金雄師兄的《董氏針灸奇穴經驗錄》，其他如胡文智師兄的“最新實用董氏針灸奇穴全集”，以及胡丙權醫師及李國政醫師，都有董氏針灸的專著等等，希望將董氏針灸推廣於海內外。

12 Areas in Master Tung’s Acupuncture

There are 12 principles areas in Master Tung’s chart of human body:  Finger  as area 11,27 points; Palm/Dorsal hand as  area22, 11 points; Forearm as area 33, 16 points; Arm as area 44, 17 points; Sole as area 55, 6 points; Dorsal Foot as area 66, 15 points; Leg as area 77, 28 points; Thigh as area 88, 32 points; Ear as area 99, 8 points; Head/Face as area 1010, 25 points. Back as area DT,  52points(B/L: 83 points);  Chest/Abdomen as area VT, 56 points.

董氏針灸目前從台灣到海外，董氏弟子遍佈全球，包括北美洲，歐洲，中南美洲，中南半島等都有董氏弟子。近年來更推展回中國大陸。由於董氏針灸的特殊針刺療法，奇穴的份布及應用，既源於傳統的經絡和針灸方法，又有獨特創新之處。

 

１　董氏奇穴共有７４０個穴道，臨床應用者２００穴左右，分布在人體的十二區塊：

　　一一部位（１１）手指，２７穴。　　　二二部位（２２）手掌手背，１１穴。

　　三三部位（３３）前臂，１６穴。　　　四四部位（４４）大臂，１７穴。

　　五五部位（５５）足底，６穴。　　　　六六部位（６６）足背，１５穴。

　　七七部位（７７）小腿，２８穴。　　　八八部位（８８）大腿，３２穴。

　　九九部位（９９）耳朵，８穴。　　　　十十部位（１０１０）頭面，２５穴。

　　後背部位（DT）52穴(單邊4 線)  ， 83穴(雙邊7 線)。　胸腹部位（VT）５６穴。

1.        骨緣分布: the points along the edge of the bone, bone membrane stimulation. 

2.        穴位組合: points combination, outstanding efficacy. 

3.        背部七線: 7 lines in the back including central 21 points. Away 1.5” lines(bilateral) 18 points. Always 3” lines(bilateral) 30 points. Away 6” lines (bilateral) 14 points. Total: 81 points.  

4.        正經奇穴: Same points but different name from TCM. all points in traditional meridians but different location or efficacy, we also call Master Tung’s Acupuncture as Tung’s Orthodox Acupuncture.

１－１骨緣分布：董氏奇穴多近骨緣分布，故進針時均緊貼骨緣。如１１部位及２２部位

　　　　　的穴道均貼骨，或進針抵骨。３３部位的心門穴／肝門穴／腸門穴，５５部位的海　　

　　　　　海豹穴／木婦穴，６６部位的火主穴／門金穴，７７部位的四花上穴／三重穴等，

　　　　　均貼骨緣。靈骨穴也是緊貼第一掌骨與第二掌骨結合處等等。現代研究，針刺效應

　　　　　與骨膜傳導有關可證。

１－２穴道組合：董氏奇穴組合穴道較多，即多個穴位一組，多穴一名，針刺效應相同。

　　　　　如腹部的腑巢２３穴；後背的五嶺穴包括大椎骨下連續十節１０個穴道，加上旁開

　　　　　３寸的８穴及旁開６寸的７穴，共４０個穴道。７７部位的下三皇穴包括天皇，地

　　　　　皇及人皇；８８部位的上三黃穴包括其黃，明黃和天黃諸穴；其他如三重穴，指腎

　　　　　穴，五虎穴，外三關，駟馬穴等，均為組合穴道。除背腹部諸穴以刺絡為主外，其

                  他穴道組合特點與其刺法之倒馬針法常兩針並刺或三針並刺有關。

１－３背部七線：董氏奇穴有相當數量的穴道集中在背部，且位於７條垂直直線上：中央

　　　　　線與督脈重叠，左右各旁開１寸半，３寸及６寸各有一條線。中央線有２１穴；１

　　　　　寸半線上有９穴，左右共１８穴；３寸線上有１５穴，左右共３０穴；６寸線上有

　　　　　７穴，左右共１４穴。此７條線上總共有８３穴。

１－４與正經穴道同穴異名：董氏奇穴有不少穴道與正經是重叠或極為接近的。可以認為

　　　　　同穴異名現象。如背部穴道與督脈穴道和膀胱經穴道；６６部位的水曲穴即地五會

　　　　　，水相穴即太溪；４４部位的人宗穴即手五里等。

　　　　　此外，也有部分穴道鄰近正經穴道，如門金穴即陷谷穴後５分緊貼兩趾骨間；火主

　　　　　穴即太衝穴向後５分，靈骨穴即合谷穴向後１寸，緊貼第一掌骨與第二掌骨結合處

　　　　　等。需要說明的是，董氏奇穴與正經穴道重叠的某些穴道，其功效主治卻與一般著　　

　　　　　作中所論正經穴道不盡相同。

Tung’s Special Technique:

1.        針法簡便(Simple Technique), Perpendicular(90’), oblique(45’) and Transverse(10-20’) insert needle. But different depth, different effect. E.g. 77.18(Shenguan), 0.5 depth tonify spleen, 1.0 depth tonify kidney.

2.        倒馬針法(Dao Ma Method), Parallel needles technique, 2 or 3 needles.

3.        動氣針法(De Qi Method), Activating qi technique, contralateral insert needle and patient moves painful area.

4.        牽引針法(Chien Yin Method), Inducing qi technique, contralateral insert needle with ipsilateral distal needle to induce qi.

5.        刺絡法: Blood Letting Technique:

(1)     Distal area blood letting. For example, blood letting on back to treat knee problem.

(2)     Whole body, for example, the back: Heart/Lung area(C7-T5), Liver area(T6-T10), Spleen area(T10- L1), Kidney area(L2-S1).

(3)     Treat many disorders, easy, safe and wonderful efficacy.

6.        刺病象法(Pathologic Morphology Technique): Insert needle to abnormal pathologic morphologies of the body. Such like abnormal color, sensation or morphology. 

２－１刺法簡便：董氏奇穴針刺方法簡便易行，較多採用正刺，斜刺，皮下刺等刺法。

　　　　　正刺為垂直進針，進針後深刺之，或淺刺之。

　　　　　斜刺為針體與皮膚表面呈６０‘或４５’的角度進針。

　　　　　皮下刺即沿皮進針。

　　　　　上述刺法於進針後通常留針３０－４５分鐘，也可不留針。

　　　　　董氏針灸不甚強調補瀉刺法，同一穴位，如果採用不同的針刺方向和不同的進針深

　　　　　度，其治療的病症也不同。如同一腎關穴（陰陵泉下１寸３分），正刺寸半可補脾　

　　　　　，深刺１寸可補腎。

　　２－２倒馬針法：倒馬針法也是董氏奇穴的特殊針法，其針刺方法為：於一個部位同時取

一組穴道刺之，一般情況同時取２－３穴，如此刺之可增強療效。在正經穴道的針

　　　　　刺中，亦可仿用此倒馬針法，如同時刺內關與間使。

 

　　２－３動氣針法：此為董氏奇穴的特殊針法，於進針得氣後，在捻針的同時，令患者活動　　

患處，然後根據治療效果決定出針和留針。如果病程短，病人反應好，則出針；如

果病程較長，且宜留針，並於留針期間，一面捻針，一面令患者繼續不停地活動患

處。如果病在胸腹部，或在臟腑，或屬於氣鬱病變，或屬於神志病變，則可配合使

用按摩，亦可令患者作深呼吸，或用意念引導之，使針刺與患處之氣相引。所謂動

氣針法，即動而得氣之義。

　　

　　２－４牽引針法：為楊維傑醫師於臨床中悟出者，即以倒馬針法在健側遠端取穴，再於患

處遠端取相關穴道遙相呼應，為動氣針法的衍伸。如治療膀胱經走向的坐骨神經痛

，先針健側的靈骨與大白穴，再針患側遠端的束骨穴作牽引針（五行穴之俞穴）。

　　２－５刺絡法：董氏奇穴善於用三稜針刺絡出血，多年大病，久病難治之病，往往通過刺

絡出血，豁然而愈。劇烈疼痛亦可於刺絡出血之後即止痛。在臨床應用上，多以病

側同邊的遠端處刺絡出血，效果甚好，比阿是穴上刺絡出血方法相比，更進一步。

　　２－６刺病象法：所謂病象，即身體內部病變在體表的異常形態或顏色反應，如瘀斑，斑

塊樣色素沉澱等。刺病象法即於體表異常顏色，異常感覺或異常形態處進針。刺絡

法亦為刺病象法之一利器。

 

 

Tung’s Diagnosis:

1.        Read palm  ( Tung’s Palm Diagnosis)

2.        Inspect face. (Tung’s Face Diagnosis)

3.        From Qi and color’s change to make diagnosis (e.g. Tung’s Back Diagnosis)

4.        Pick up points to treat it. (Adding Electro Meridian Analysis System to confirm meridian dysfunction and pick up the points)

5.        If patient’s cc is sciatica, after read palm, inspect face and color’s change, the diagnosis is Sciatica d/t lung deficiency, needle Linggu & Dabai to treat this sciatica.

Tung’s theories:

1.        Holographic Correspondence. For example, takes ear, nose or hand as whole body, then to find points to treat whole man and condition

2.        Analogous Correspondence: For example, bone points for bone disease, skin points for skin disease.

3.        Zang-Fu Collateral way: Lung and Bladder, Spleen and Small Intestine, Heart and Gall Bladder, Kidney and San Jiao, Pericardium and Stomach.

4.        Vascular Pathology: Blood stagnation always induces many ailments, so blood letting technique is very important in Tung’s acupuncture.

 

３　董氏奇穴的理論基礎：

 

３－１全息通應：由生物全息律發展出的全息針灸學，係由山東張穎清教授所揭示。他認為生

　　　物機體的某些局部，它們彼此相似，在很多方面像它的整體，任何一個生物系統都可視

　　　為它本身內在的與整體周圍環境所構成的大系統中的一個全息。構成人體這一物體的每

　　　一個細胞，都帶有人體全部顯性的生命特徵。其主張與董氏針灸精神相當契合。

　　　董氏針灸的穴道排列，合乎人體生物全息律的規律，從１１到１０１０部位皆有全息律

　　　的影子，任何一個區段皆可治療全身疾病。董師家傳的奇穴已有十代，暗合新近的全息

　　　律，實令人驚訝。如水金，水通二穴正當面部全息倒象之肺及氣管所在，其全息正像則

　　　為下焦腎藏所在，故以“金”“水”命名，補氣益腎作用極強，故治療久病腎不納氣之

　　　哮喘尤有特效。

　　　而董氏倒馬針法，亦符合全息律的關係，利用身體任何一個區段，按全息投影及經絡關

　　　係，取２或３個穴道使用倒馬針法，調治全身疾病。如駟馬三穴通治全身皮膚病。

３－２同氣相求：又稱之為“體應”：即以骨治骨，以筋治筋，以肉治肉，以脈治脈，以皮治

　　　皮。如治骨刺，用削骨針（四花副穴加上其下二寸半倒馬），必須貼骨進針方有效。又

　　　如股骨頭壞死後換關節，術後覺得外側體表有異常冷感，針刺二月無效，改於其小腿心

　　　肺區刺絡出血而愈，合以皮治皮之同氣相投。

３－３臟腑別通：以內經開闔樞理論而來，即手（足）太陽經別通足（手）太陰經；手（足）　　

　　　少陽經別通足（手）少陰經；手（足）陽明經別通足（手）厥陰經。如以中白穴（三焦

　　　經）治腎虛腰痛，即“腎與三焦相通”的臟胕別通理論。

３－４刺絡病理論：本於內經，董師大昌盛之。蓋任何頑症痼疾由氣滯，血瘀到痰凝，毒聚的

　　　病理過程，均以瘀血為機轉。刺絡出血，合乎內經“宛陳則除之”的理論。

　　　

　　

 

 

　　

 

 

 

The Most Common Tung’s Acupoints

 

11.06還巢穴  Huanchao(return to ovaries) or Huan-Ch’ao. Reflex area of liver and kidney.

Location: On the center of the ulnar side of the middle phalanx of the ring finger. Insert 2-5 fen in

depth  無名指中節小指側正中央

Indication: Uterine pain, uterine tumor, uteritis, irregular menstruation,　Leucorrhea with redish discharge, fallopian tube blockage, retroversion of uterus, frequent urination, vaginal swelling,  frequency miscarriage. 子宮痛，子宮瘤，子宮炎，月經不調，赤白帶下，輸卵管不通，子宮不正，小便過多，陰門發腫，安胎。

 

11.24婦科穴 Fuke (gynecology) or Fu-K’o. Reflex area of Uterus.

       Location: These 2 points lie on ulnar side of the proximal phalanx of the thumb. Usually insets 2 fen in

       depth to these 2 points at the same time.大指第一節尺側，針深２分，一用兩針。

       Indication: Uteritis, pain of uterus(acute or chronic), hysteroma, distention of the lower abdomen,

       Female steility, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, menorrhea, scanty menstruation. 子宮炎，子宮

　　痛（急慢均可），子宮瘤，小腹脹，婦人久年不孕，月經不調，痛經，月經過多或過少。

       Preparation: Divide the dorsal proximal phalanx of the thumb into three section, find these 2 points just

　　lie on the dividing lines very near the ulnar margin.位於大指背第一節尺側，1/3, 2/3各一穴。

 

11.17木穴 Mu (Mu, wood). Reflex area of liver.

Location: On the proximal phalanx of the ulnar aspect of the index finger.2 points at 1/3 & 2/3. Insert 2-3 fen in depth. 在掌面食指之內側，距中央線二分之直線上，3/1及2/3各一穴，針深2-3分。

       Indication: Hyperactivity of liver-fire and irritability

 

11.26制污穴  Zhiwu (control dirty) or Chih-Wu.

Location: These 3 points are located on the midline of the dorsal proximal phalanx of the

       thumb. Bloodletting only. 大指背第一節中央線上共三穴，僅用於三稜針刺血。

Indication: Persisted carbuncles, blood oozing from the wound after a surgery of tumor or delayed healing wound. 久年惡瘡，惡瘤開刀後刀口流水不止，不結口。

 

11.27五虎穴 Wu Hu ( five tigers) or Wu-Hu. Reflex area of spleen.

Location: These five points are located on the radial border of the proximal phalanx of the thumb.

                Inserts 2 fen in depth.大指掌面第一節之尺側，共五穴，針深２分。

       Indication: Bone swelling of all body.全身骨腫。

 

        22.01重子穴  Zhongzi (Double son) or Chung-Tzu. Reflex area of lungs.

Location: The point located in the thenar area about 1 cun from skin fold between the 1st

and 2nd metacarpals. 掌側虎口下１寸，大指掌骨與食指掌骨之間

Indication: Back pain, pneumonia (esp. effective), common cold, coughing and asthma( most effective to children.背痛，肺炎（特效），感冒，氣喘（小兒特效）。

       22.02重仙穴Zhongxian (Double  immortal) or Chung-Hsien. Reflex area of lungs. 

Location: This point lies at the joint between the 1st and 2nd metacapal bones, oblique and

Distal 1 cun to Zhongzi. 3-5 fen depth. 重仙下１寸，靈骨正反面。針深３－５分。

Indication: High fever, Pneumonia, Back pain, Knee pain (esp. anterior knee pain )背痛，肺炎，退燒，心跳，膝蓋痛（膝前痛）。

22.04大白穴  Dabai (great white) or Ta-Pai. Reflex area of lungs.

       Location: The point lies 1.2 cun distal to bony junction of the 1st & 2nd metacapals. Insert 4-6 fen depth

       當第一掌骨與第二掌骨接合處向下1.2 寸，針深4-6分。

       Indication: Asthma in child (Blood letting), High Fever(most effective), Sciatica d/t lung deficiency. 小

　　兒氣喘（點刺出血），發高燒（特效），肺機能不夠之坐骨神經痛。

       N.B.: not for pregnant women. 孕婦禁針。

 

22.05靈骨穴  Linggu (spirit bone) or Ling-Ku. Reflex area of lungs.

Location: The points lies at the bony juction of 1st & 2nd metacarpals of dorsal hand. Deep insert to 22.02 Zhongxian. 位於手背姆指與次指叉骨稍前。可透刺至重仙穴。

Indication: Sciatica d/t lung deficiency, Lumbago, Leg pain, Bell’s palsy(Facial nerve palsy),

Hemiplegia, Tinnitus, Hyper or oligo-menorrhagia, Polyuria, Amenorrhea, Migraine, Difficult to delivery, Hearing impairment(sensorineural type). 肺機能不夠之坐骨神經，腰痛，腳痛；半面神經麻痺，半身不遂，骨骼脹大；婦女經脈不調，經閉，難產；背痛，耳聾，偏頭痛，經痛，腸痛，頭暈腦脹。

N.B. Not for pregnant women. 孕婦禁針。

 

       22.08腕順一穴Wanshunyi (first normal wrist) or Wan-Shun-1. Reflex area of kidney.

Location: The ulnar side of 5th metacarpal about 2.5 cuns distal to the wrist joint. Insert

1.0-1.5 cuns in depth. 小指掌骨邊，距手腕橫紋二寸五分。針深一寸至寸半。

Indication: Kidney Deficiency  Syndrome, such as headache, blur vision, sciatica, fatigue,

       nephritis, bone swelling in 4 extremities, heavy  para-spinal pain (low back and back). (Esp. for female

       but only pick in one hand). 腎虧之頭痛，眼花，坐骨神經痛，疲勞，腎臟炎，四肢骨腫，重性腰

　　邊痛，背痛。（女人用之效更大，兩手不宜同時札針）。

      

      22.09腕順二穴  Wanshuner(second normal wrist) or Wan-Shun-2.

       Location: 1 cun proximal to Wan Shun 1. Insert 1.0-1.5 cuns in depth. 小指掌骨側面距腕橫紋1.5寸

       Indication: Same as Wan Shun 1 and Epistaxis (nose bleeding). 鼻出血及同腕順一穴主治。

       N.B.: Only pick 1 of these 2 points to treat the patient in same time. 腕順一二穴每次用一穴為宜。

      

33.10腸門穴  Changmen (intestine gate) or Ch’ang-Men. Reflex area of liver and Intestine.

Location: This point lies longitudinally 3 cuns above the pisiform bone,just on the medial side of   

of ulna. 3 – 5 fen deep insertion . 在尺骨內側，距腕豆骨六寸，針深三至五分。

       Indication: Enteritis caused by hepatitis, dizziness and blurred vision. 肝炎之腸炎，頭暈眼花

 

33.11肝門穴 Ganmen (liver gate) or Kan-Men. Reflex area of liver.

Location: This point lies longitudinally 6 cuns above the pisiform bone, which is on the medial

 Side of the ulna. 尺骨內側，距腕豆骨六寸。

Treatment: Acute hepatitis (most effective).

Procedure: 3-5 deep insertion will relieve liver pain immediately. Manipulating Clockwise to relieve chest tension. Manipulating anti-clockwise to relieve intestine Pain. Permitted only on the left forearm.

針下後立止肝痛，右旋轉針胸悶即除，左旋轉針，腸痛亦除。單用左手穴道。

 

33.12心門穴 Xinmen (heart gate) or Hsin-Men. Reflex area of heart and liver.

Location: This point lies longitudinall 1.5 cuns distal to the olecranon. Insert 4-7 fen in depth.尺骨鷹嘴突之下，去肘一寸五分陷，針四至七分深。

Indication: Carditis, Palpitation, Chest oppression, Vomitting(dry), Inguinal region pain. 心臟炎，心跳胸悶，嘔吐，乾霍亂。

 

44.06肩中穴  Jianzhong( central shoulder) or Chien-Chung. Reflex area of heart.

Location: The point lies at the certer of the deltoid muscle. 0.5-1.0 cun in depth.當後臂肱骨之外側，去肩骨縫二寸五分，針深五分至一寸。（中三角肌中央）

Indication: Knee pain(most effective)(contralateral insert), Skin disorder (esp. neck skin), Hemiplegia, Poliomyelitis(Infantile paralysis), Arterio-sclerosis, Nose bleeding(Epistaxis), Shoulder pain(contralateral). 膝蓋痛特效（針健側），皮膚病（頸項反膚病有特效），小兒麻痺，半身不遂，心跳，血管硬化，鼻出血，肩痛特效（針健側）。  

 

       66.03火硬穴  Huoying(fire hardness) or Huo-Ying. Reflex area of heart and liver.

Location: 1 cun to the web between the big and 2nd toes. Inert 0.5-1.0 cun in depth. 第一蹠骨與第二蹠之間，距蹠趾關節上五分。針深五分至一寸。

Indication: Palpitation, Dizziness, Placental dystocia,  Bony swelling, TMJ pain, Heart attack(for resuscitation), Metritis(uterine inflammation), Uterine tumor. 心悸，頭暈，胎衣不下，骨骼脹大，下頦痛（張口不靈），強心（昏迷狀態時使用），子宮炎，子宮瘤。

N.B.: Not for pregnant women. 孕婦禁針。

       66.04火主穴 Huozhu (fire master) or Huo-Chu. Reflex area of heart.

Location: 1 cun proximal to Huoying. Insert 0.5-1.0 cun in depth. 火硬上一寸，針五分至一寸。

Indication:  Difficult delivery, Bony swelling, Headache d/t Heart disease, Liver disease,  Stomach disease, Nervousness, Heart attack, Pain in hands and feet,  Metritis(uterine inflammation), Uterine tumor. 難產，骨骼脹大，心臟病引起之頭痛，肝病，胃病，神經衰弱，心臟麻痺，手腳痛，子宮炎，子宮瘤。

N.B.: No moxa. Not for pregnant women. 禁灸，孕婦禁針。

 

       66.05門金穴 Menjin (golden door) or Men-King. Relfex area of stomach and duodenum.

Location: 2 cuns proximal to the web between the 2nd and 3rd toes. Insert 1.0-1.5 cuns in depth.第二蹠骨與第三蹠骨連接部之直下陷中。針深一寸至寸半。

Indication: Enteritis, Gastritis, Abdomain pain, Dysentery, Appendicitis. 腸炎，胃炎，腹部發脹及腹痛，盲腸炎。

N.B.: Only use one point in one treatment. 禁雙腳同時取針。

Explanation:

  1. Just proximal to ST43 or 2 cuns proximal to ST44. 位在胃經陷谷之上。或內庭後二寸。
  2. Can treat any kind of Gastritis. 腸胃炎，腹瀉特效。
  3. Good for temporal migraine and nose congestion and menstrual cramp. 太陽穴偏頭痛及鼻塞，經痛均有效。
  4. Good for Dysentery, with Linggu treat abdominal pain. 配靈骨治腹痛，腹脹。
  5. Always with ST44 treat above disease, also rectal prolapse.內庭倒馬治以上各病及脫肛效更佳

 

        66.06木留穴  Muliu (wood keep) or Mu-Liu. Reflex area of spleen and liver.

Location: 1.5 cun proximal to the web between the 3rd and 4th toes. Insert 0.5-1.0 cun in depth. 第三蹠骨與第四蹠骨連接部之直前陷中，距蹠趾關節一寸五分。針深一寸至一寸五分。

Indication: Splenomegaly, Indigestion, Liver disease, Fatigue, Cholecystitis, Poliomyelitis & Leukaemia. .脾腫大（硬塊），消化不良，肝病，疲勞，膽病，小兒麻痺及白血球症。

 

        66.07木斗穴  Mudou  (wood scoop) or Mu-Tou.

Location: 1 cuns proximal to the web between the 3rd & 4th toes. Insert 0.5-1.0 cun in depth. 第三蹠骨與第四蹠骨之間，距蹠趾關節五分。針深一寸至一寸五分

Indication Same as Muliu but not including Leukaemia. 同木留穴但無白血球症。

 

       66.10火連穴  Huolien(fire connection) or Huo-Lien. Reflex area of heart and kidneys.

Location: Just 1.5 cuns proximal to the medial side of 1st metatarso-phanlangeal joint. Insert

5-8 fen in depth. 第一蹠骨內側，從蹠趾關節向足跟一寸五分。針深五至八分。

Indication: Vertigo, Dizziness, Palpitation, Heart weakness d/t Hypertension. 血壓高引起的頭暈眼昏，心跳，心臟衰弱。

N.B. : Only use one point in one treatment. Not for pregnant women. 單腳取穴，孕婦禁針。

 

　　66.11火菊穴 Huoju(fire chrysanthemum) or Huo-Chu.

Location: 1 cun proximal to Huolien. Insert 0.5-1.0 cun in depth. 火連後一寸，針深一寸至寸半。

Indication: Numbness of hands, Palpitation, Dizziness, Foot pain, Hypertension, Fullness in head, blur vision, Eyelid edema, Restriction of neck movement.手發麻，心跳，頭暈，腳痛，高血壓，頭腦脹，眼昏，眼皮發酸，頸項扭轉不靈。

N.B.: Use only one point in one treatment. Not for pregnant women. 單腳取穴，孕婦禁針。

 

　　66.12火散穴  Huosan(fire scatter) or Huo-San.

Location: 1 cun proximal to Huoju. Insert 5-8 fens in depth. 火菊後一寸，針深五至八分。

Treatment: Headache, Fullness in brain, Conjunctivitis and Kidney Deficiency Syndrome such 

 As dizziness, blur vision, low back soreness and back pain. 頭痛，腦脹，眼角痛，腎虧，頭暈，眼花，腰酸，背痛。

N.B. Only one point in one treatment. Not for pregnant woem.單腳取穴，孕婦禁針。

 

77.01正筋穴 Zhengjin (Upright tendon) or Cheng-Chin. Reflex area of brain and spine.

Location: The point located on the Achilles tendon just 3.5 cuns straight above the heel. Insertion 5 – 8 fen in depth (Penetrate tendon more effective). Needle tough guy In sitting position; weak person with side lying position. 足後跟筋中央上，距足底三寸五分。針深五分至八分（透筋尤佳），體壯可坐姿扎，體弱者應側臥扎。

Indication: Spinal pain(S/S), Lumbago, Neck pain(d/t herniated cervical disc and S/S), Hydrocephalus and Occiput pain. 脊椎骨閃痛，腰脊椎痛，頸項筋痛及扭轉不靈，腦骨脹大，腦積水。

 

77.02正宗穴Zhengzong (upright ancestral) or Cheng-Tsung. Reflex area of brain & spine.

Location: 2 cuns straightly above Zhengjin. Insert depth as Zhengjin. 正筋上二寸，針深同之。

Indication Same as Zhengjin. 治同正筋。

       N.B.: Always use with Zhengjin to have better effective. 正筋正宗相配用針。

 

77.09四花中穴 Sihuazhong(middle four flowers) or Tz’u-Hua-Chung. Reflex area of heart, lung and 6 bowels.

Location: The point lies 4.5 cuns distal to Sihuashang(ST36). 四花上穴直下四寸五分。

Indication: Asthma, Ophthalmalgia, Carditis, Arteriosclerosis, Chest oppression & Restless, Acute stomachache, Bony swelling.哮喘，眼球病，心臟炎，心臟血管硬化（心兩側痛），心臟麻痺（心悶難過，坐臥不安），急性胃痛，消骨頭之腫脹。

Procedure: Inserts 2-3 cuns for asthma and ophalmalgia,; Bloodletting to treat the rest of disease.針深二至三寸治哮喘及眼球痛，其他刺血治心臟病變。  

 

77.14四花外穴 Sihuawai (lateral four flowers) or Tz’u –Hua-Wai. Reflex area of lung & six bowels.

Location: The point lies horizontally 1.5 cuns to the Sihuazhong. 1-1.5 depth insertion. 四花穴向外橫開一寸五分，針深一寸至一寸五分。

Indication: Acute enteritis, Toothache, Migraine, Facial palsy, Intercostals neuralgia, Tennis elbow.急性腸炎，牙痛，偏頭痛，臉部神經麻痺，肋膜痛。

Procedure: Bloodletting black blood to treat acute enteritis, intercostals neuralgia, chest oppression, asthma, sciatica(along GB meridian) and other neuralgia, shoulder/arm pain, ear pain, chronic sinusitis, headache, hypertension. 用三稜針出黑血，治急性腸胃炎，肋膜痛，胸部發脹，哮喘，坐骨及其神經痛，肩臂痛，耳痛，慢性鼻炎，頭痛，高血壓。

 

77.17天皇穴 Tianhuang (heaven emperor) or T’ien-Huang. Reflex area of kidney & heart

Location: The point is located just below the med. condyle of the tibia bone. 0.5-1.0 depth. 在脛骨頭之內側陷中，去膝關節二寸五分，針深五分至一寸。

Indicaiton: Hyperchlorhydria(excessive gastric acid), Esophageal reflux, Glomerulonephritis, Diabetes.胃酸過多，反胃（倒食病），腎臟炎，糖尿病，小便蛋白質。

Procedure: with 77.18 Sheguan, treat excessive gastric and Esophageal reflux. 配腎關治胃酸過多，倒食症。

N.B.: No moxa,  not for pregnant women. 禁灸及孕婦禁針。

 

77.18天皇副穴（腎關)Tianhuangfu (Shenguan) (kidney gate) or Shen-Kuan. Reflex area of heart and kidney.

Location: The point lies 1.5 cuns below Tianhuang. 1.0 – 2.0 cuns depth.天皇穴直下一寸五分，脛骨之內側，針深五分至一寸。

Indication: Hyperchlorhydria(excess gastric acid), Esophageal reflux, Strabismus(squit), Astigmatism(visualdistortion), Anemia, Idiopathic epilepsy, Hysteria, Headache(frontal), Nose pain, Vertigo. 胃酸過多，倒食症，眼球歪斜，散光，貧血，癲癇病，神經病，眉酸骨痛，鼻骨痛，頭暈。

 

77.19地皇穴 Dihuang (earth emperor) or Ti-Huang. Reflex area of kidneys.

Location: The point lies 7 cuns above the med. malleolus just beside the med. border of the tibia. Insert obliquely 1.0-1.8 cun in depth. 在脛骨之內側，距內踝骨七寸，四十五度進針，針深一寸至一寸八分。

Indication: Edema, Glomerulonephritis, Diatetes, Early ejaculation, Impotence, Gonorrhea,  Hematuria, Uterine myoma. Lumbago due to Shen Kuei Syndrome or  period. 腎臟炎，四肢浮腫，糖尿病，淋病，陽萎，早洩，夢遺，小便蛋白質，小便出血，子宮瘤，月經不週腎虧之腰痛。

N.B.: Not for pregnant women. 孕婦禁針。

 

77.21人皇穴 Renhuang. (human emperor) or Jen-Huang. Reflex area of kidney.

Treatment: Gonoorrhea, Impotence, Lumbago, Neck pain(acute), Early ejaculation, Hands numbness d/t Diabetes, Dizziness.淋病，陽萎，早洩，遺精，滑精，腰脊椎骨痛，脖子痛，頭暈，手麻，糖尿病，小便出血，腎臟炎，腎虧之腰痛。

N.B.: Not for pregnant women. 孕婦禁針。

 

77.22側三里穴 Cesanli (lateral 3 mile) or Ts’e-San-Li. Reflex area of teeth & lungs.

Location: The point lies horizontally 1.5 cuns lateral to ST36. 0.5 –1.0 cun depth insert. 四花上穴（足三里穴向外橫開三寸故名，針深五分至一寸。

Indication: Toothache(Gingivitis), Facial nerve palsy. 牙痛，面部麻痺。

 

77.23側下三里穴 Cexiasanli (Distal to lateral 3 mile) or Ts’e-Hsia-San-Li. 

Location: The point lies longitudinally 2 cuns below the Cesanli. 0.5-1.0 cuns depth. 側三里下二寸，針深五分至一寸。

Indication: Same as Cesanli. Always combine these 2 points contralaterally in practice. 治同側三里，兩穴一組共用。

 

88.01通關穴 Tongguan( passing gate) or T’ung-Kuan. Reflex area of heart.

Location: The point locates at the medline of the thigh, 5 cuns above the superior border of the  

patella. 3-5 fen depth insert. 在大腿正中線上，距膝蓋橫紋上五寸，針深三分至五分。

Indication: Heart disease, Coronary disease, Acute pericarditis, Cardiac rheumatism, Floating vision,   Palpitation, Stomachache, 4 extremities pain, Cerebral ischemia.心臟病，心包絡（心口）痛，心兩側痛，心臟性風濕病，頭昏，眼花，心跳，胃病，四肢痛，腦貧血。

 

88.02通山穴 Tongshan(passing mountain) or T’ung-Shan. Reflex area of heart.

Location: 2 cuns above the Tongguan. 5-8 fen depth insert. 通關直上二寸，針深五至八分。

Indication: Same as Tongguan. 治同通關。

 

88.03通天穴 Tongtian(passing heaven) or T’ung-T’ien. Reflex area of heart.

Location: 4 cuns above the Tongguan. 0.5-1.0 cun depth insert. 通關直山四寸。

Indication: Same as Tongguan.

N.B.: Only pick these three  points in one leg to use. 不可雙足六穴同時下針。

         Only pick one or two of them to treat patient. 各取一穴至二穴下針。

         Only pick one point in each thigh to treat hypertension. 高血壓雙足只各取一穴下針。

 

88.09通腎穴  Tongshen(through kidney) or T’ung-Shen. Reflex area of kidneys.

Location: The point lies at medial superior border of patella bone. 3-5 fens depth insert.本穴位於膝蓋內側上緣，針深三分至五分。

Indication: Impotence, Premature ejaculation, Strangury, Renal inflammation, Diabetes, lumbago/Fibromylgia d/t kidney deficiency, Uterine pain, Leucorrhea (any kind). 陽萎，早洩，淋病，腎臟炎，糖尿病，腎虧之頭暈腰痛，腎臟性風濕痛，子宮痛，婦科赤白帶下。

 

88.10通胃穴  Tongwei(through stomach) or T’ung-Wei. Reflex area of kidneys.

Location: 2 cuns above Tongshen. 0.5-1.0 cuns depth insert. 通腎直上二寸，針深五分至一寸。

Indication: Same as Tongshen, also Back pain. 治同通腎穴，亦治背痛。

 

88.11通背穴  Tongbei(through back) or T’ung-Pei. Reflex area of kidneys.

Location: 2 cuns above Tongwei. 0.5-1.0 cun depth insert. 通胃直上二寸。針深五分至一寸。

Treatment: Same as Tongwei. 治同通胃。

Procedure: Pick 2 of these 3 points( 4 points at 2 thighs), Never use 3 needles same time.三穴選二穴

　　　　　（兩腿四穴）下針，禁忌六針齊下。

                  Pick 1 to treat the same name disease. 任取一穴為治其他各症之補針。

                  Help prevent miscarriage, pick 1 of them(B/L),  half month treatment. 任取一穴為治療流

　　　　　產之補針，連續半月即無流產之憂。

 

88.12明黃穴  Minghuang( bright yellow) or Ming-Huang. Reflex area of kidneys, liver and heart.

Lcoation: In the center of the middle line of medial aspect of the thigh. 1.5-2.5 cun depth.在大腿內側正中央,針深一寸五分至二寸五分。

Indication: Liver cirrhosis, Hepatitis, Bony swelling, Spondylitis, Chronic fatigue(liver deficiency)

Chorea, Ophthalmalgia, Indigestion, Leukemia(Very effective). 肝硬化，肝炎，骨骼脹大，脊椎長芽骨（脊椎骨膜炎），肝機能不夠引起之疲勞，腰酸，眼昏，眼痛，肝痛，消化不良，白血球症（特效）。

 

88.13天黃穴 Tianhuang(heaven yellow) or T’ien-Huang. Reflex area of kidneys, liver & heart.

Location: 3 cuns above the Minghuang. 1.5-2.5 cuns depth insert. 明黃穴上三寸。針深同明黃。

Indication: same as Minghuang.

 

      88.14 其黃穴 Qihuang(other yellow) or Ch’I-Huang. Reflex area of heart, liver and gall bladders.

      Location: 3 cuns below Minghuang. Insert 1.5-2.0 cuns depth. 其黃下三寸。針深一寸五分至二寸。

      Indication: Jaundice and others as Minghuang. 黃膽病及明黃穴主治。

      Procedure: Needle these 3 points (B/L) to treat Hepatitis, Liver cirrhosis, Bony swelling(e.g.

       Osteoarthirits), Liver deficiency Syndrome, Splenohepatomegaly, and tongue sores. 上三黃三穴同時

　　取穴下針，主治肝炎，肝硬化，骨骼脹大，肝機能不夠引起之各症，脾硬化，舌瘡。

 

        88.15火枝穴  Huozhi(fire branch) or Huo-Chih. Reflex area of liver, gall bladder & heart.

Location: Lies 1.5 cuns above the QiHuang.　1.5-2 cun depth. 其黃上一寸五分，即其黃與明黃中間。針深一寸五分至二寸。

Indication: Jaundice which induces dizziness, blur vision and back pain. Cholecystitis

( gall bladder inflammation).黃疸病，黃疸病之頭暈，眼花及背痛，膽炎。

Procedure: 88.12Minghuang, 88.15Huozhi and 88.14Qihuang(B/L) to treat jaundice and cholecystitis .明黃，火枝與其黃六針治黃疸病及膽炎。

 

        88.16火全穴  Huoquan (fire all) or Huo-Chin. Reflex area of liver, GB, heart & spine.

Location: 1.5 cuns below Qihuang. Insert 1.5-2.0 cuns depth. 其黃下一寸五分，針深同火枝。

Indication: Same as Huozhi, also spinal pain and heel pain.治同火枝，並治脊椎痛及足跟痛。

Procedure: 88.16Huoquan, 88.14Qihuang & 88.15Huozhi(B/L) treat Jaundice, cholecystitis and gallstone. 火全，火枝及其黃六針治黃疸，膽炎及膽結石。

Only Huoquan treat spinal pain and heel pain. 單用火全治脊椎痛及足跟痛。

 

       88.17駟馬中穴  Simazhong(middle four horses) or Tz’u-Ma-Chung. Reflex area of liver and lungs.

Location: The patient stand straightly, let both arms down naturally, and pick the tip of the

Middle finger, then horizontally measure 3 cuns anteriorly. Insert 0.8-2.5 cun. 直立，兩手下垂，中指尖所至之處向前橫開三寸，針深八分至二寸五分。

Indication: Costalgia, back pain, Sciatica or lumbago d/t lung deficiency, Lung deficiency, Lung disease, Pleurisy, Rhinitis, Tinitus , Loss hearing, Facial nerve palsy, Conjunctivitis(red eye), Astham,  Breast pain(most effective), Hemiplegia, Psoriasis, Skin disease. Also lower extremity sprain/strain. 肋痛，背痛，肺機能不夠之坐骨神經痛及腰痛，肺痛，肺病，胸部被打擊後而引起之胸背痛，肋膜炎，鼻炎；耳聾，耳鳴，耳炎，面部神經麻痺，眼發紅，哮喘，乳房疼，半身不遂；牛皮癬，皮膚病特效；並治下肢扭傷。

        88.18駟馬上穴  Simashang(upper 4 horses or Tz’u-Ma-Shang.

Location: 2 cuns above Simazhong.Insert 0.8-2.5 cun 駟馬中直上二寸。針深同。

Indication: Same as Simazhong. 治同駟馬中。

 

       88.19駟馬下穴  Simaxia(lower 4 hourses) or Tz’u-Ma-Hsia.

Location: 2 cuns below Simazhong. Insert 0.8-2.5 cun in depth. 駟馬中直下二寸。針深同。

Indication: Same as Simazhong. 治同駟馬中。

N.B.: Only insert needles to these 3 needles contralaterally to treat Costalgia, Back pain &

         Sciatica. 針健側三針治肋痛，背痛及坐骨神經痛。

 

 

       1010.19水通穴 Shuitong(water open) or Shui-T’ung. Reflex area of kidneys.

Location: 4 fens longitudinally below the corner of the mouth. Obliquely insert 1-5 fens from

 medial to lateral side of the chin. 在嘴角下四分，針由內向外斜扎，針深一分至五分。

Indicationt: Fibromyalgia and chronic fatique d/t kidney deficiency, vertigo, blur vision, lumbago,

Low back sprain/strain d/t qi blockage. 腎臟之風濕病，腎機能不夠之疲勞，頭暈，眼花，腎虛，腎虧，腰痛，閃腰岔氣。

 

        vvvv1010.20水金穴 Shuijin(water metal) or Shui--King. Reflex area of kidneys.

Location: Horizontally 5 fens to the medial side of Shuitong. Same inserting technique. 水通穴向裡平開五分，針由內向外斜扎，針深一分至五分。

Indication: Same as Shuitong. 治同水通。
